My Operation Lysistrata: The Results(Pt 2)!!!!! supsupsup!

Ok Hola u guys once again! As u kno already, I decided to protest AGAINST abortion around the world by taking a vow of silence for 2 days in school. I wore a piece of duct tape over my mouth with the word "LIFE" written across it. Also in addition to silence, I ended my protest by fasting from food from 6am to 6pm that Wednesday! My whole reason for doing a protest like that was to not only complete my English project (supsupsup!), but I really wanted to raise awareness about the issue of abortion and how it can affect our society. I feel that during the times we're in right now, people tend to overlook certain issues and focus more on others.
Overall, I was very proud of myself for doin what I did. I've never did anything like this before. It definitely wasn't easy and I took a huge risk by doing this protest but I figured it was for a good cause so I continued with it. It was really hard bcuz alot of people weren't expectin it and they had no idea what I was doin so they all looked at me like I was crazy. Also, it the whole vow of silence and tape over my mouth is completely outside of my character so it not only shocked others, but it even shocked me! But personally, I think the best thing about this whole experience is that I proved to myself that I could something that I never thought I could do.
I would have to say the best part of the whole protest was all the attention I got from unsuspecting people in the hallways and in my classes. I mean come on, its not evryday that u get to see someone with tape over their mouth and a clipboard hanging from their neck! LOL I actually had one of my friends ask me during the protest "Does it irritate u when people ask what you're doin?" and my answer (well more like written response since I couldnt talk) was no. The reason why I said no was that my whole purpose and goal was to draw attention to myself so that I could possibly raise awareness about abortion and how serious it is. However, one thing I didnt appreciate about the whole experience was that people would purposely mess with meto make me break my vow of silence and ruin the protest. Unfortunately, at one point during the 1st day I unknowningly broke the silence bcuz of a teacher so onething that I would do differently would be to have tape over my mouth the entire tim and never take it off. I must say though that the whole protest was a great experience was great and I'd love to do it again sometime! Well I've said enough but I'd love to kno what u guys thought about my protest...Did u like it, hate it, agree/disagree? All comments are welcome! SUPSUPSUP!!!!!!
