Hedda: supsupsupsup!

Overall, I felt kinda bad for Hedda. She was very cruel and rude to alot of people in the play, but she only did it cuz she had to. I think alot of people who read the book kind of put Hedda in her own category of woman but to me she was just like the others. Hedda was subject to the same sexism and opression the other women went through. The only difference between Hedda and the other women is that she attempted to fight back..And so far she did a good job but I think she let the pressure get to her head and started to self destruct....Hedda felt strongest when she had control over others but she realized that if she wasnt in control, that someone had control over her and she didnt like that...Hedda could only see herself in control and the only way she saw that possibly happening was through death so she decided to take her own life..Its very sad but true..Some people are so afraid that others will take control of them that they see themselves in power through death ya kno?

So true, so sad...cant believe it but this is real life, guess fiction is nothing but a piece of reality.

Yeah, sad but true....I agree with you about fition bein a piece of reality. If you look at any story, theres always some truth in it but its just twisted and molded into what the creator wants it to be.
